track it

Gosh, I love tracking numbers.

There's something about the feeling I get when I get that email... the one that says "Hey! You bought something. Guess what? We shipped it! And here is something to tide you over until it gets there... a tracking number." Oooooh! I love it!

We've been using gDiapers for a few months now and although I enjoy cloth diapering, the g's aren't cutting it for us. Eli pees through them like nobody's business, and if he hasn't peed through it yet, he's pulled it off and pooped on the floor. Nothing against gDiapers but they just didn't work for us. So I'm in the process of trying to decide what to try next, and I bought a new BumGenius diaper yesterday. And just a few minutes ago, I opened an email and found my tracking number. Thank you! As soon as I'm done here, I'm heading right to UPS to type in my number... even though I know it hasn't even left the building yet.

My gdiaper stash will be hitting the market soon so be on the lookout, fluffy mamas!

four months

Eli is four months old today! And still a colicky dude. We are defying the odds! In the wrong way, though... argh.

Anyway, he's doing well other than that. He started sleeping through the night last week, usually from around 8pm to 6am... sometimes 5am, but still it's better than waking up a few times a night. The cereal seems to be going well. He's rolling from belly to back and is starting to hold things a little bit if I wrap his fingers around it. And not the best thing, but he seems to like television! He'll sit for about 10-15 minutes watching tv... and trust me, 10 minutes of relief for my arms is a big deal. Lately he won't let me put him down, so I'll take what I can get!

In other news, we did get our free gro-baby diaper! Josh is still learning how this cloth diaper thing goes...

We've crossed over to the other side. We're going cloth! At least a little bit at a time. It's kind of expensive to start up so I figure I'll add slowly to the collection and eventually maybe we'll do it exclusively. For now, I'm still figuring things out. But the first six came in the mail yesterday, so we're getting on our way. Here's Eli's little orange gdiaper butt!

This will be the first kind we've tried so far. I want to try some other types too, but it will take a little time . One I want to try is the Gro Baby... I've heard such good things about them and score... they'll send me one to try if I post about them here. I'll let you know how we like it when it comes! And of course I'll show you how cute he looks in it too.
